He fed from the faun and hunted with the wolf, befriended the falcon and sung with the wind. He was wild and grew to be strong.

River child, wild and free! Come my brothers, and soon you'll see. Grace of the faun and cunning of the hound. No one knows where the child is bound.

In these holy plains, a divine child plays. Forging the path for all of us to follow.

O, gather round my brothers and lay witness to this gift from the gods. A golden child born of the wild. Lay praise upon him and may he gift us with seeded blood. Nature protects him, The welkin guides him, the boy painted all in mud.
